Summer wildflowers bloom in a dense carpet of color underneath summer aspens.  This painting was created on location near Crested Butte, Colorado.  Blooms include cow parsley, lupines, and sneezeweed, among many others. Bees were hard at work, in the sunlight and shadows, while I enjoyed soft breezes at play.

Original acrylic on canvas, 24" x 24" x 1.5", the painting continues around the sides for a beautiful finish, ready to hang with no frame necessary.
